The Flagstaff Kestrel Project began in January, 2019. From then til now, the coordinator has been developing relationships with local community partners, planning programs, coordinating events, and fundraising.
Rough timeline:
October 15, 2019 : Teams will start installing nesting boxes on sites in Northern Arizona
January 15, 2020: Last date to install nest boxes
March 2020: Surveys and interviews for participants begin
May 2020: Kestrel nest box monitoring begins
